Yahoo is now closing accounts that have not been logged into for 12 months.

If you have a Yahoo account and you’d like to keep it, you’d better log in before July 15th or you risk losing it and everything in it per this notice I found today (while trying desperately to get a security breach resolved, but that’s another rant for another day).

I have no idea what this means for people with local listings who haven’t logged in for the last 12 months. Perhaps, you’ll need to reclaim and verify if you lose access.

Interesting. I hadn’t noticed that, Mary, so thanks for the intel. I wonder if it’s mostly part of some much-needed housekeeping on Yahoo’s part. The junk/outdated listings there are out of control.
