This little-talked-about tool came out earlier this year, but we don’t see many talking about it. It could be a great time saver if used, and is a great “add on” feature to the Google Search/Google Now platform. If you type “Remind me to” into Google Desktop Search, you receive the following:
In Google’s Google Now for iPhone – the prompt is right in the search suggest – you don’t even have to type in “remind me to!”
This is really useful for my desktop. I live in Google Search as an SEO, and I can see myself using this often to add calendar reminders for things that come up during the day. I set the reminder on my desktop, and it sends me a prompt on Google Now – on my phone – to remind me to do something. Pretty freaking spectacular!
On my cell phone – reminders are displayed in the Google Now Cards – they look like this:
I see this feature as being a really useful tool when you’re on the go, have no paper, or don’t want to take time to add a calendar entry on your phone. What do you think?
