Mary and I were lucky enough to be invited to speak at a local search marketing seminar offered by the Town of Snowmass Village here in Colorado.  We spent 3 hours talking about local search ranking factors, the importance of reviews, Google MapMaker, and more.  The Town was generous enough to video the whole presentation, and they offered it to us so we can share it with all of you!

Learn what factors matter, learn how to correct issues within your Google Places account, and absorb strategies designed to help you increase your reviews and improve customer service.  We answer questions about social media, map placement problems, as well as help the businesses in Snowmass Village brainstorm some strategies for overcoming their issue with branding.  For example, the entire world knows them as “Snowmass” but the Post Office, and Google Local/Maps, knows them as “Snowmass Village” – that’s a big data consistency issue!

Watch below and share your thoughts and comments – we’d love to hear from you!
